Junie is an Assistant Professor in the Faculté de médecine et des sciences de la santé of the Université de Sherbrooke (Longueuil campus). She received her doctorate in Experimental Psychology from McGill University with a research internship in Pain Medicine at Stanford University. She also completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Her lab is now at the Centre d’action en prévention et réadaptation au travail in Longueuil.
Junie’s research interests center on the impact of biopsychosocial determinants of trajectories of recovery following musculoskeletal pain conditions. Outside of the university, she enjoys cooking, playing with her kids and ballet.
Marie-Pier is a physiotherapist and research agent responsible for the coordination of all lab projects.
